Teaching has taken me across the world, and has enabled me to provide my students with the tools they need to succeed in life. This provides me with a sense of deep fulfillment. After an extensive education, I have emerged with not only the set of skills required for excellent tutoring, but also quite a few degrees. I hold an undergraduate degree from Fort Valley State University in Journalism, and a Master of Education from Piedmont College in Secondary English Education. Last but definitely not least, I earned my Doctorate in Education from Nova Southeastern University. Having such a wealth of credentials has enabled me to travel all over the world to teach, which have been amazing opportunities and unforgettable experiences. Tutoring is a unique opportunity to explore other methods of teaching that are not possible within a classroom setting. My specialty is tutoring English and reading to students in grades 1 through 9, and teaching math skills to students in grades 1 through 5. I am also proficient at teaching students of all ages these skills. I am strong proponent of bringing joy into my tutoring sessions, because when students have fun, their eyes light up and they start to absorb information more thoroughly.
